President's Day weekend brings four championships to HPSTL

Boy's High School Gateway Regional Championships

The boy's high school club season has reached its midseason break as high school season begins at the end of the month. 17 and 18 Royal declined participating in Gateway Regionals this year, while the rest of HPSTL's boy's high school teams finished off this first portion playing in the 16s division or the 18s division of the Gateway Regional Championships.

HPSTL swept the podium in the 16s division with 15 Royal taking down 16 Orange 27-25 and 25-21 in the finals. 16 White finished third.

HPSTL also swept the 18s division with 18 Orange beating 17 Orange in the finals. 16 Royal played up in the 18s division and took third place.

The regional tournament is also the largest single day tournament for HPSTL's regional teams. This year, HPSTL hosted a record eight regional teams, that gave over seventy-five players the opportunity to play high level club volleyball while gearing up for their high school seasons. We look forward to tracking their progress for their schools and can't wait to see them in the summer for outdoor volleyball and prepare for nationals with our travel teams when they return in May!
