Regionals

Gateway Regionals took place this past weekend, where Hi-P boys grade school teams, Illinois high school teams, and girls 18s competed. Girls 18 Royal swept the weekend on their way to a Regional Championship despite overcoming several recent injuries, while 18 Orange put a cap on their season by finishing third.

In other Regional Championship news, Illinois 17 Select also won their Gold Bracket and Illinois 16 Select finished second in Silver!

HPSTL's grade school boys made program history over the weekend as all 5 of our 13s and 14s teams finished in Gold at Regionals. The Gold Bracket was only six times deep and five of them were HPSTL teams! Congrats to all of the boys teams, especially 14 Royal, who defeated 14 Orange in the finals. It was a great weekend on and off the court as the parents put together quite the spread for the boys to enjoy when they were not playing!

The first weekend of Show Me hosted six of the grade school travel teams, where 13 Royal was the big winner as they finished 4th in Open! In the ultra-competitive field, 13 Royal had five matches go to a deciding set and played extra points in two more matches! 12 Royal and 11 Royal ended up finishing 9th, and 13 Orange had an exciting weekend as well as they went 5-4 with three of their losses coming in a deciding third set.

JVA World Challenge

13 Gray traveled to Louisville to compete in the JVA World Challenge, where they finished in the Silver bracket to put them 15th out of 42 teams.
