18 Royal continued their historic dominance of the 18U Ladder Series by sweeping the opening weekend. 17 Royal finished 2nd in the bracket, with 18 Orange and IL HPSTL 18s taking 3rd and 4th respectively. 17 Orange took second in the Contender's A bracket, and 18 White took 3rd in the Contender's A bracket. Overall, six of the top eight spots went to HPSTL teams and no HPSTL teams finished in the C pool!

In the 16U division, 16 Royal swept the weekend without dropping a set, while 15 Royal finished 2nd with their only set losses coming at the hands of 16 Royal. 16 White, 16 Orange, and 16 Gray finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th respectively. IL HPSTL 16s swept the B pool to end the weekend on a high note!

It was a great start to the year for all HPSTL teams and for boy's volleyball in general. This year we are excited that there are enough teams to have a 16U and 18U division. This year we also have two Kansas City teams that are traveling for the Ladder Series! It is always great seeing boys volleyball grow in our region and across the midwest!
