Coach Biggs is a native of St. Louis, growing up in Ferguson and a proud graduate of Truman State University. A technology teacher at Holy Redeemer in Webster Groves, Coach Biggs has been working as an educator for 20 years and has taught grade school, middle school, and high school.
Coach Biggs has been coaching USAV since 1995 and high school since 1998. He has extensive experience coaching boys and girls of all ages having coached at St. Joseph's Academy, Barat Academy and Chaminade. In 2018 Coach Biggs was named the head men's coach at Eureka High School where they made the final four in state in his first season. In his high school coaching career Coach Biggs has over 300 career wins, 4 state titles, 10 final four appearances, and 10 district titles, He has coached or trained over 100 college volleyball players.
While no longer playing volleyball (knees can only jump without pain for so long), Coach Biggs played USAV for 20+ years primarily as a middle.
Coach Biggs has two sons who are not volleyball players (one plays baseball in college the other plays baseball in high school). He and his wife enjoy life in Soulard with their dog. He is a baseball fanatic (and still plays) who is a devoted Cardinals fan.
