High Performance-STL Volleyball Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Ben O'Day as its new Girl's Program Director and Coach. Ben not only has distinguished himself as a team player and leader in St. Louis Volleyball, but has extensive experience at all levels of volleyball as a player, coach and administrator. He won two National Championships as a player one at Columbia College, and one at the 2004 USA Championships where he was also an All-American. He has coached for Lutheran High School St. Charles, and East Central College. Additionally, he has also lead several teams to top finishes at the USA Junior National Championships, coaching 3 teams to top 11 finishes in the prestigious OPEN division.

Ben is a coach who inspires athletes with his passion for the game and his strong character and values. As an administrator and director he has constantly pushed the envelope challenging Saint Louis volleyball to develop  and improve. He has served on the Gateway Region Board of Directors, and has served as director for area club volleyball for several years. 

Coach O'Day will be an asset to HPSTL's ever improving organization, and is ready to get started. “I am very excited to join the High Performance coaching team and I look forward to what the future brings for both myself and the club,” said coach O’Day.

Ben will be in the office getting acclimated this week and next, and will also be in the gym leading and coaching many of the High Performance Summer Camps & Clinics.
