Another weekend of collegiate volleyball has passed and another week of awards and accomplishments was had as well for High Performance Alums.

In NCAA D1 action Samford University compiled a 2-1 record over the weekend with wins against Jacksonville State and Lamar and a tough loss to Ole Miss.  Leading the charge was Sophomore Left Side Erin Bognar (2013).  Erin was the leading attacker in all three matches including a career high 20 kills against Lamar.  For her efforts, Erin was named SOCON Offensive Player of the Week.  Erin had a High Performance Alum supporting her as well.  Junior Middle Blocker Emily Meitz (2012) was also an offensive force.  Meitz hit an astounding .419 out of the Middle.

In NCAA D2, Quincy University, led by former High Performance coach Bob Crank, handed NAIA powerhouse Missouri Baptist their first loss.  In the win, left side Sam Haegele (2010) had 14 kills and had a fantastic defensive effort as well.
