Northeast Qualifier

17 Royal was HPSTL's lone team to travel to the Northeast Qualifier in Philadelphia, PA and they represented the club in first class fashion. They breezed through the first two days of play with an unblemished record. In their Day 3 Gold Pool, they took first on set percentage after a three way tie. 17 Royal ended up losing in the finals to A5 after securing their Open Bid for a second consecutive year under Coach Nichols!

Windy City

Nine teams traveled to Chicago for the Windy City Qualifier with four teams finishing in the Top 10 and loads of exciting matches.

Illinois HPSTL was on fire with 17 Elite finishing 9th in Open as they finished in the Silver bracket. This was the first qualifier that they did not finish in the Gold pools, but continue to show that they are a team to be reckon with. 14 National won the Silver bracket of USA to finish 9th, while 14 Select finished 9th overall in the Gold bracket of American. The highest finish of the weekend went to 12 Select as they finished 6th in American.

On the St. Louis side, 16 Royal had an eventful weekend as they battled in the "pool of death" on Day 2. They went three sets with all three teams and the two teams that advanced ended up taking first and second in the entire qualifier. 16 Royal also played the third place team overall and the Silver bracket champions on their way to an 11th place finish in Open.

An injury ridden 15 Royal team lost a tiebreaker set to knock them out of Gold as they finished 15th overall in Open. 15 White finished 21st in American, as did 14 Orange. Lastly, 14 Royal had a crazy Day 1 as all three of their matches went to three sets. They ended up finding some better luck the rest of the tournament as they finished 18th in USA.
